Rescue Alert Medical Alert Systems

The Rescue Alert Medical Alert System comes with two pieces of equipment, a panic button and a base unit. The panic button can be worn as a bracelet or a necklace. The panic button is also waterproof and be worn and used in the shower. Since slip and falls are extremely common in the shower this is a great addition to any panic button. The panic button offered with Rescue Alert's Medical Emergency Alert System is capable of working up to six hundred feet or more away. One alarm is capable or working with up to eight different alert buttons at the same time. This is great for a nursing home type of environment. Soft touch buttons are also available for subscribers who cannot manage these buttons because of lack of fine motor skills.

The RA400 is the centerpiece of the Rescue medical alert system. The base unit is equipped with an extremely powerful microphone and speaker which provides two-way communication between your home and the response center. This is crucial during emergencies. The base unit is capable of monitoring your smoke alarms and your medication dispenser as well. The unit is capable of monitoring its own battery. The base unit is capable of testing itself. Testing is conducted every thirty days. Testing is usually done within three minutes. You will not be disturbed during the testing period. If you feel the need you can easily test your own system to make sure it is working properly. Simply press the panic button and wait for a Response center member to talk to you. Once they ask you if there is an emergency simple tell them that you are performing your monthly test.

The emergency response center is the basis of any medical alert system. Without any emergency response center the medical alert system would not be able to function. The response center prides itself in delivering fast, friendly, and flexible help. There is somebody around all the time to assist in emergencies. A translation service is available that is capable of translating over one hundred and fifty languages.

Pricing packages range in price and payment times. If you are confident that you want to use your system for the remained of your lifetime then you should consider getting a lifetime plan. A lifetime plan costs you a little under seven hundred and fifty dollars. After payment is made you will never be charged again. If you purchase your own equipment you'll be looking at a charge of thirteen ninety five a month. If you want to rent the equipment then you'll be charged nineteen ninety five a month.
